Cards of Care

According to a study held by National Institutes of Health, 44% of veterans report feelings of loneliness at least some of the time and 10% reported feeling lonely often. Loneliness and isolation significantly affect social and mental well-being, leading to a range of negative health outcomes, including depression, anxiety, and decreased physical health. This illustrates the critical need for initiatives that address these issues among our veteran population. 

Care of Cards is dedicated to honoring and supporting veterans as they recover in hospitals. Through our acts of care, we create and deliver personalized cards filled with messages of appreciation and hope. By involving children in creating cards, we aim to cultivate empathy, broaden their worldview, and raise awareness of the sacrifices our veterans have made for our nation. We also place donation boxes in communities, encouraging people to write their sentiments and well-wishes. By connecting veterans with the gratitude of the community, we aim to enhance their emotional well-being, boost their morale, and contribute positively to their recovery. Our goal is to ensure that every veteran feels valued, respected, and supported on their path to recovery.
